About

Stacey Jo was raised on I-90 traveling between the homestead her parents established in southern Wisconsin and the communities of their northern roots. Stacey Jo, the youngest of 2 children received her sewing license during home economics classes. She was lured back into the hobby sewing; specifically quilting by her dear friends Joan & Terri sometime around 2009.

Stacey Jo has finished a few full-size quilts, has several in the works as well as several smaller projects. She would like to continue working towards creating art quilts. Stacey Jo has enjoyed making smaller projects utilizing thread painting techniques for nearly a decade. She found a love of buttons in 2022 and will continue to find ways to incorporate buttons into future projects.

It’s Sew Stacey Jo was conceived in the Spring of 2023 to allow Stacey Jo to spend more time with her sewing machine.

Stacey Jo truly enjoys cultivating fiber art treasures. The variety of materials, and the individuality of the designs make the creative process extremely rewarding.
